Yeah I had one of those passes too...Oops. But in my defence there was a rail guard when we were returning from HOA right near Elmshorn, he checked my ticket and was all like "thank you".
ah of course, I knew it was going to be carnaval soon. didn't realize your kids will have vacation then.

I guess I should start from the very beginning and I can't remember if I already said this yesterday so here goes...
Had to pick my mum up from bingo yesterday because her back was hurting so bad that she couldn't drive home.
This morning I was up before 6am as per usual to get ready for work. Mum must have heard me and I heard her shouting "HELP HELP". I found her slumped over the bathtub in her ensuite with blood all over the floor. She was conscious at this point but not able to move, so I had to call an ambulance. Anyway so I called dad to tell him what happened as she was being carted out to the ambulance wagon. Somehow I managed to get completely ready for work in half the time I would normally allow and that included letting out the chickens and feeding them.
When I got to the hospital it wasn't long before my dad arrived and we stayed with her for a while. We had a brief discussion and decided that I'd go to work and claim lost hours on family leave.
Anyway so she was back at home when I got home. She's ok I guess, and I think I handled the whole situation really well.

The down side was I spent $50 on food (yes $50) and I was still kind of hungry after it. I didn't understand half the menu and my "main" was smaller than my entree
It was all really tasty though. Maybe I'd go back if it was half the price.
