I've told myself to get checked for a bunch of things by now. I think I gave up on that.
But stress generally = stress, not really autism, unless you think the causes of it are autism related?

nah don't think so, I just know I can get really excited about weird things. specially numbers
Besides, I do alright as my own psychologist. Went from crap grades to good grades, got a good (enough) job after awhile of unemployment, and I'm generally happier. Just got one major thing to fix.
Still suck at focusing, still do all sorts of OCD-like things, among others, but doing alright now.

Sounds familiar. Only I don't have a house to worry about, so instead it's "did I remember to get my lunch/phone/DS/wallet?" Or when filling up gas... did I put my credit card back in my wallet? Close the gas door thingy with the screw and the door? Remember the receipt?
I think I'm better at it lately than I used to be. On the downside, I forget things more often.
