I've liked black before I liked metal. And before I had any "metal" friends. So (at least for me) it wasn't that.

Speaking of which, did you or did you not ask the guy with the <insert particular band> band shirt if he was <insert what you wanted (not) to ask>?

Internet connection is non negotiable around here. Thankfully I live in a city where most people have access to high speed networks



I like black also but I wouldn't find it very easy to get around here without driving and also having to wear protective glasses all the time and then not really being able to go out to enjoy the summer sun and forget being on the water with all the reflections would probably be very painful. I wouldn't think it's fun, or easy

I have to wonder - does our music tastes influence the clothing we like, or do they both depend on some other factor that leads to us liking both? In other words, what's the connection between metal and black clothes?

There ought to be some kind of physical dependence between one and the other.

Didn't think of that, but black is preferable, though for sweathers not always available.

And white metal shirts do exist. (especially haindy in the summer)

And I do own a RED jersey, in the Tampa Bay Bucs colours. I think I'll wear it in 2 weeks' time, and in October, when I'm heading for London.

The plane landed safely.. Now I can relax for a few days. I don't know why I worry so much, planes fly every day and I don't think I remember the last time a big company plane crashed. I'm just paranoid I think lol

Because you're off the ground.
And trust me, I am as paranoid as you, when it comes to that point.
Thank goodness neither of us has never had to fly alone. (I'd be crazy!!!)

Had to pass a few bits of debris which no-one had bothered to clear yet, intersections with no traffic lights, a creek or two (that I didn't exactly know existed that far back) that had broken their banks, and then arrived at my office only to find out the entire suburb was without power. Decided to work from the hospital instead, but by 3pm absolutely everything was done so I went home. I just about shit myself coming home as the conditions were made worse by antisocial drivers and the creek water levels had risen a bit further throughout the day. Not exactly a day I'd like to repeat.
