Question: Why would anyone want to follow the WINTER!? I mean, the "Elfstedentocht" is done in Freisland only (to stay in the Netherlands) and besides that, it's fucking cold and light from sun AND snow!
I prefer Spring. Nice time to do a festival when it's dry.

The sun, it hurts me..... So naturally I would prefer when the damned thing is at its weakest.. or weakening.. I do prefer Autumn..

Makes sense, but I've got the same problem. (with the light actually)
Nonetheless, no winter for me. It's too cold, and when there's snow I'm blinded by it.

Goodness they haven't hired anyone new yet?!

they hired one so far. but for now that only means more work, since we need to train him and all that.
it'll take a few weeks before he can do anything that helps.

well when it's to cold you can always put extra stuff on. when it's to warm you can't take more cloths off, atleast not more than your wearing... so that's a problem when you're still to hot

Today was the rollercoaster of customer satisfaction.

Got more compliments today than I usually do in a week, and at the same time someone got pissed at me because they had to wait (nothing I could do about it, me and a manager were the only ones here for the past two hours and now it's only me).

You have to remember that "Winter" in Australia is the warm time They have reversed seasons so when we're freezing they are all basking in the sun.

I'm an autumn person as well. August is usually really lovely around here. not too hot, not too cold and usually dry. Sun sets around 9 - 10pm so the nights are long. not like now..

Today's Weather...
Snow.. -10c (feels like -15), sunrise @ 7:41, sunset @ 16:45. Leave us just under 9 hours of actual daylight.
