70K Before Wacken 2013

I might need uggs for next year's Wacken I always wore my boots with thick socks whenever i wasn't sleeping but especially once they got wet they were useless as far as keeping my feet warm. The night that Dimmu played the only clean clothes I had left were my thermals and short socks. I spent hours trying to get to sleep because no matter what my feet just wouldn't get warm

I'll be wearing my hiking boots, They are reasonably warm, especially with good socks which I will have plenty of..if all goes well. Otherwise I'll be warming up my feet on my boyfriend

army boots... they are the best for festivals. Socks will stay dry and so will your feet. These are the ones I bought for last year and with them being padded they don't need that much walking in...

I was in camp A with all the swamp patches and I got caught in the dark at least once each with both feet. I had to throw them away

Also there's a huntsman spider that popped in to say hello and although it has stopped moving I don't want to turn the lights out to go to bed now.

mine were fine after cleaning. And I had to walk past all the field and got stuck twice knee deep

Aye, those are very similar to my hiking boots. Problem being I can't bring a different pair of boots for Wacken than what I will be wearing for the 2 weeks before while we are walking around Europe.
