In my ears german and dutch sound a lot alike.
If I stare at written Dutch for long enough, sometimes I can figure out what it means, but as spoken languages Dutch and German sound very different to me.
*gives nemi some money so she can be rich again*

They sound very different to me also. Don't worry Siss, I didn't mean that to be bad - The Muppets were the only exposure I had to that 'area' so I guess it just stuck in my brain. Dutch accented English is kind of a neat sound too.

Mir latte.
Bewijs dat Nederland een tweetalig land is!![]()
hahaha Dutch accented English. You will not hear that from me.
If you ever manage te meet me, I've got a very very bad(or good depends on wich way you look at it) Englisch accent. Northern accent to be precise. Most people don't believe I'm Dutch until I speak Dutch![]()

Is het al vast gesteld dan dat Fries een echte eigen taal is? (geen sarcasme, eerlijk geinteresseerd)
