Exactly..so I would hear it and assume that's what was being said/ At least I can say I will understand 1 word at woa. I am a little worried though what to do if someone is starting trouble. I wont know what to say

I know a little bit from my one class I took in school. The easy ones.

A few more things - I'm not completely clueless but I couldn't hold any kind of conversation

That only worked for me when I was in Belgium and people spoke to me in French Just as well they didn't decide to switch to Dutch before trying English
