Yeah that's what I think too..but I don't speak German, I can't talk to anyone about it and my boyfriend is also upset at me because he doesn't trust money transfers. I can't even get a refund probably..I have no idea. Basically I have no choice.

You should be able to get a refund... Just go to your bank and tell them that you have paid for a service/item you didn't receive. They should be able to just pull your money back.

I wonder if there's some equivalent in Germany to the ACCC (Australian Competition and Consumer Commission).

The ACCC promotes competition and fair trade in the market place to benefit consumers, business and the community. It also regulates national infrastructure industries. Its primary responsibility is to ensure that individuals and businesses comply with the Commonwealth's competition, fair trading and consumer protection laws.

Can any German residents here confirm if there a similar Act in Germany?

Don't give up on it Koldawne, you should absolutely get this sorted out. Don't let them think they can brush this aside just because of a "language barrier".

The bus times from the car park to the hospital have been changed again, so if I want to start work by 7:30, I have to catch the 7:15 bus and just pretend I totally didn't start work before 7:30 (that's the earliest we're technically allowed to start). So anyway, in order to do that I set my alarm for 5 minutes earlier than normal.

I got to the car park at 7:00...so I walked to work and I was still early :uff:
