That makes sense.. I was lucky that I didn't end up with more problems from being big but I guess I never got THAT big.

I have a few more requirements. Quiet, good service, free breakfast - preferably buffet, laundry facilities close by are a good thing as well.

This time laundry will be required because we will only have maybe 2 changes of clothes with us - we travel from backpacks that you can take 'carry on' only and we want to leave space for souvenirs so some of the other things will stay home.

Yeah, ok, if you're leaving for more than just a few days.

I'm just going for 2 nights! So I don't need much, just some stuff and the rest is for when I go back.

what's the average temp during the day in summertime?

The official average at this end of the country is 29C. During your average heatwave you can expect it to get to around 35C and during a particularly bad one it could reach 40C. It's very humid in the summer time so it doesn't help, but at least we don't get near 50C like other parts of the country. Night time temperatures you'd be looking at around 20-22C.
