Usually one of the first words kids learn, yes :D

When it's pronounced that way in English (even other languages) the meaning is all in the delivery.

e.g.

Ei :cool: = lookin' goooood
Ei :( = I was going to have that!
Ei :) = I have something to tell you
Ei :D = Hello!
Ei :confused: = I don't understand
Ei :mad: = Stop that!/Let's go!

...I'm sure that'd all make more sense if I said so in person :p

And no can be used in lot of things in finnish like
no? :( = What do you want? :(
no? :) = What now? Whats up? What do you want?
no joo = ok fine
...

And yes, I can picture it in my head just couldn't as written text but rather how people would say it :)
