Mostly because you cannot change the contents in PDF, just read them.

I know and I know thats why pdf is usually used but for things like that, hmm sounds bit crazy to me (I've worked with similar things are never heard anyone doing that).

needed to get screenshots into a ticket. but since lotus notes on an imac sucks and I can't get the pics out of the mail, I just printed the whole mail into a pdf
