Mac is easy as long as you know how to use it. And much more secure as Windoofs.

But I haven't seen a Mac in ages.

I would say that any OS is safe as long as you use it smart way. Windows has most problems just because it's used more and especially used more by people who don't have any technical knowledge (like my grandma). :)

I used one for several months when I lived in LA a few years ago. It sucked. :p

Windows is just more vulnerable since the people who build malware know that they'll get more people if they design it for the operating system that most people use.

But yea, you're fine as long as you have antivirus software (even free) and aren't stupid enough to fall for scams or try to claim free Ipods or smileys or something. :p

If you want a less vulnerable OS, you'd be better off with Linux. But if you can actually find your way around Linux, you're definitely smart enough to be fine with Windows. :D

With Linux it is so much easier to leave some ports open, start some nice services etc so I would say that if person doesn't know what they are doing then its better to use Windows (no Mac because nobody can help you with it). :)

Huh? :o I was just trying to use it like I was using it with Windows. Took me forever just to get it to connect to wifi, and I think it still had issues (with the driver). Plus a bunch of the less-known programs are only designed for Windows, or sometimes Mac, so I'd always have to switch to Windows (I dual booted) when I wanted to use those. So I just ended up on Windows more often.

It was an interesting experience to try it, though.

I know there's Wine to run Windows programs, but that just didn't work as well as it should have (or I just couldn't figure it out :o).

I play a lot so for me Windows is the best option :)
