Any particular reason you feel the need to miss out on all the fun?

None of these places are walking distance from Wacken (that I know of), but transfers are included.

If not, I highly recommend camping. You won't regret it. Also (at least in Camp A) the grounds are very comfortable to sleep on

This site might be able to help, There are lists of houses ther thet u can sleep for free in them,
Maybe 1 house close to the festival....

just to let you know...I think some people travel all the way to Wacken actually just to the camping thingy!!! met some awesome people there in the past two years! you should give it a try
