And btw, in case you hadn't figured it out, I'm majoring in econ now. (When I get back to school, that is...)

It's just flawed logic based on the assumption that when GDP goes up, unemployment goes down. But if you look at the actual data, historically, that's not the case. It only works like that about half the time. The other half, not at all.

But what's worse is when they act on those false assumptions, which unfortunately a major economic theory does. If the government takes aim at GDP, like they are, then all they care about is the amount of spending and tax rates. If they were right, stimuli and tax cuts would have fixed this mess. But it didn't, and the fact that they're aiming at GDP is one reason why.

Sad but true facts, and our great Savior "Obama" did not fix all our woes as promised... what else is new?

Unfortunately, polls aren't looking too good. So far, Obama seems to be on top of everyone else when they match them up one on one.

Maybe if they'd quit arguing with each other and saying stupid crap we'd get somewhere...

I agree!!! We need someone better, but the other choices/possibilities aren't looking very good.

Romney and Paul are alright. If you combined Paul's philosophy with Romney's business experience and personality, you'd have a strong candidate.

I actually liked Huntsman, but unfortunately he never really caught on.
