I went on Interrail (equivalent of Eurorail for EU citizens) when I was 29. So...
It all depends of course what you're doing. (but at that time I had a nice & decent job)

Just go first and take care of responsibilities later. Might be easier that way and all that boring stuff will catch you eventually anyway
