When it's up to my mum, that's possible It wasn't about taste though. I said I was disappointed that they didn't have any fresh salads in their salad buffet. They only had stuff that was pickled. My mum kept trying to tell me that there was fresh salad although there simply wasn't..

Die Gedanken die jeder mit Weihnachten ausstrahlt (?), sollte man auch auf anderen Daten ausstrahlen. Aber nee, man macht das nur während dieser 2 Tage. Und das ist was mich an Weihnachten nicht gefällt.

Wieso immer am 25.12.? Wieso z.B. nicht am 27.3., 21.7., oder von mir aus am 3.10.?

It's called Denglish

I always considered Denglish to be with individual words though. Or at least sentences where you just replaced the words you didn't know. Quark was just being a doof.

(And yes, I know I'm not using "doof" in proper German. It's one of my words I manipulate for my own uses. )

That's good. I finally got something I wanted this year. Though, whenever I want something of a particular band I end up getting flooded with it. I have a running joke with Iced Earth, somehow I ended up with 9 shirts. Now it's Blind Guardian. Not complaining of course.

My mum was probably embarrassed because I was offending the restaurant by saying their salad wasn't "fresh" although that was not was I was saying at all. So she thought she had to defend the restaurant or something.

I got a laptop - not that any of you don't know already since you have my FB.

Most everything else was fairly lame (got some running shoes and a bit of cash though). I wasn't expecting the laptop though - my dad knew I was saving up for a really good one, since I needed one, and I guess he took it upon himself to get one to replace the old one.
