I looked up the company on the website and turns out there were also preparation and cooking suggestions on the back of the label on the meat...Anyway it's now sitting in olive oil, garlic, fresh rosemary and cracked black pepper waiting for tomorrow night. The bad news is my hands still smell like kangaroo just a little bit even after I washed them. Could be worse.

I had kangaroo once (in Middelkerke, Belgium) and I have to say, it tasted very well! I never had it before.

If I have the chance I'll eat it again.

The same for pigeon. I cannot find a decent butcher / poullier that sells pigeons here. Too bad. Especially the soupe was always very tasty. (which I always made myself btw)

I go back to my old job at the end of October. For now I'm back-filling someone on their holiday for 3 weeks, then I go on holidays for 2 weeks. It's just a massive headache. Having to deal with doctors who won't do as they're told, then having the tribunal on my back for not having stuff in on time with the courts on their back, and I'm constantly having doctors and health practitioners trying to argue their way out of their obligations. It's a vicious circle of rage. Fuck! I stop only to put the pieces of my brain back together with the aid of a few cups of coffee since I don't have keys to the pill cupboard I would be so fired if I was caught pinching Valium

a beer with cherry/chocolate.
