Well usually the message we get over here is that the US is very religious and you'd rather expect an atheist to have trouble than a religious person.

Depends on what kind of people you're around, I guess. I'm sure some atheists have problems, especially in the more religious areas. But a religious person involved in the metalhead culture? Not exactly easy.

Yeah I'm sure it's different in the metalhead culture, it's obvious religion isn't as widely accepted there.
