The car seats for newborns when they're facing towards the back of the car. People are saying kids should stay in them until they're two.

ow that, I always wondered why babies have to be facing the back anyway.
So they can not get launched to far when there is an accident?
Coz if that is the case, the seat is just not safe enough I would say

I don't know. Supposedly it protects a kid's head and spine more.

Kids who are up to 4'9 have to stay in a carseat. Imagine being a 14-year-old late bloomer boy having to ride in a carseat.

Yea.. It's kind of silly if you ask me. My cousin is nearly 11 and he's angry that his parents make him stay in the carseat because he's 4'8.

Kinderen van 3 tot 12 jaar of korter dan 1,50 meter moeten achterin gebruik maken van het goedgekeurde kinderbeveiligingssysteem. Is dat systeem niet beschikbaar, dan moeten zij de beschikbare gordel gebruiken. Zitten er meer kinderen achterin dan er gordels zijn, dan behoren alleen de beschikbare gordels gebruikt te worden. Bedenk wel dat het uiteraard niet veilig is als kinderen zonder gordel in de auto zitten.


Childer from 3 till 12 or shorten than 1m50 have to sit in the backseat using an aproved childrens security system. Is that system not available than they have to use the available seatbelts. Are there more children seated in the back than seatbelts available, then only the available belts are to be used. Do keep in mind that it is obviously not safe if there are children are sitting in the car without seatbelt

(and using a seatbelt is compulsory, but that is not in the text)
