I'm paying roughly $1300 to go to Finland and Germany this year. Though, I was stupid and bought airfare before it dropped 50%.

I paid €495 to go from Amsterdam (Schiphol) to Toronto ON (Canada) and 112Can$ from Toronto to Rochester NY (US)
That's quite OK.

I don't make bad investments very often

Most of the time I just don't invest when I should.
