cant say, never listened the first ep, also i probably dont like female vocals on metal/hard rock bands

well with arch enemy I don't have a problem with the femal vocals.. but with bands like within temptation and nightwish I do have a problem with the vocals...

yeah but arch enemy singer (which i also met at the hamburg airport when coming back rome in 2006, not very kind i must say), sing almost like a male

yea I know what you mean... since Angela doesn't sing...
I don't really like female fronted metal otherwise either... like a few songs from those bands though but that's it

that's because they try and do operatic vocals and fail miserably... I feel the only reason a lot of metalheads think they can sing is because they're not very familiar with good female singers (as they generally don't join metal bands in my experience). just my opinion though.
