but i consider changing from an open source program to Mircosoft whatever_they_call_this a step back...

and: they paid that from our "Studiengebühren" (which are intended for other things)

but finally the forwarding is working now, so i don't have to use that thing anymore

My work upgraded to Office 2007 from 2003. 2003 worked perfectly fine, nobody had any problems and it was easy to use. Office 2007 required everybody to take a class and it crashes so often and it's just horrible.

It is a step back. Microsoft is terrible. It's a waste of money that really could be used for better things.

Good that it's starting to work.

but you have to see the beasts i've beaten: leviathian, samael, behemoth, lots of trolls... and some neighbours with the help of nidhogg, my dragon... he barbecue them first and then i dig their graves

The company that took over my work blocked youtube. Sadly, I take online classes at work and need it.

Nobody likes the change at my work either. They make things so much harder than it should be. It just wastes money too because it takes so much longer to figure out. It gives work to me of course because I'm the computer person, I also take the blame even though it wasn't my choice!

At your school it probably does the same, and causes students to be late for class and/or miss assignments and such I can bet.

Yea, big problem. I usually have to find work-arounds until I can get a hold of the idiots who decided to block it.

it's an university, and the computer scientist have an additional computer pool, mail server, etc. only for themselves, so the second paragraph doesn't apply to us, but it's still waste of money (and it might be illegal to spend the Studiengebühren on such things)
