here they do stuff like: work-time-shortening, which means that people who work for instance 40 hours a week, work 24 hours a week (and get the salary for 24 hours). The government pays the rest of the salary. This way companies need to pay less, and are not forced to fire people

That's a great solution. I'd even rather take reduced work hours than lose my job altogether.

this my perfect example from 40 hours to 30, but unfortunately im paid just for 30 hours and im pretty sure berlusconi will not give me extra-money

Some companies do work furloughs, usually 5 days a month, it equals a 25% reduction in what a company pays it's employees in a month, and 25% reduction in what a person earns, but it's better then losing your job completely.

I think that's a great thing to do, if the government has the money to pay for it.
