well that one's not really a short story... more like an introduction or something to a longer story that I'll probably never get around to
but yea, I've done a short story before, as well as attempted to write books... but I always lose interest after the first chapter or two...
except one I managed to get to chapter 13 or something like that, but I decided it was crap and deleted the whole thing

nooo why did you! some manuscripts turn out to be a bestseller after you rediscover them some decades after my favorite book series came to life this way ..
yeah mine are not that long, too. that was some 7 years ago or so when I had to write a story for school and I had so many ideas. then I shortened it for school and for me at home I wrote a longer version ^^ but I think it is also childish crab
