never heard of it... what is it about?

i first read about it in maxim magazine, and it is about this serial killer in northern mexico, and the book is split up into five parts, and is about five different people (or peoples because the first part is about a group of 4 people) and they all tie into each others story somehow. it is a very very gruesome, violent, and beautifully written book. the author died before he could complete the last part of the book. part one is kinda slow and really doesnt have any gruesome or violent things in it, but the rest of the parts do lol.

I recommend Laphroig, it's an Islay whisky. Now THAT'S real fucking scottish whisky aawww yeah, might get some sometime...
