which CD would you recommend I get 1st?

well...their first one, aspera hiems symphonia, is very dark, sort of a melodic black metal deal, very good, with some shreddy guitar stuff.

la masquerade infernale is the strangest one, extremely avante-garde with violins and piano and clean singing as well as my favorite. ICS vortex sings 1 song and does backing vocals on 2 others.

the sham mirrors has a hint of like, industrial to it, very outer-spacey, and trippy, with awesome keyboard interludes and stuff.

sideshow symphonies is about outer space, the sort of premise if you will is about their broken space ship but they just keep flying deeper and deeper into space...the only one featuring mr vortex solely on lead vocals. my 2nd favorite.
