And violoncello and recorder. :o Also 'Nasenflöte', which is quite fun and a bit of Tin Whistle. :D

Almost 13 years recorder, 8 years piano and like, what?, 4-5 years cello. :D

nice :D
I still have my recorder from a gazillion years ago, I can play 'Mary Had a Little Lamb' and 'Hot Cross Buns' :o:D
cellos are awesomeness, I've wanted to try it... do you know Apocalyptica?

Well my point is that I don't find that behaviour any good in reallife either. So why should I find it ok on the internet? For me I am a real person with real thoughts and emotions behind that screen. That I express those on the internet that moment doesn't make it any less disrespectful to bully me for it.

Besides that I also want to give in the point that if you're a person that is actually honest on the internet, you're even more vulnerable here than in reallife, because you're giving in your real thoughts and feelings but you just will have to trust that other's do that too. So respect is a really big issue on the internet because you abuse people's trust if you don't show any.

But if you're going to bare yourself open to the internet you need to be prepared for something like that. Just like in real life. Only less like in real life, cause no one knows who you are so it's more anonymous practically by definition.

But this has nothing to do with how people should act on the internet. This is about family matters (not the show) and the education system I guess. (How much personal bullying goes on in the industrial/commercial world i have no idea).

Life is imperfect and difficult for everyone. The internet is not an escape and everyone needs to learn that. We would then have far fewer shitty web comics, horrible blogs, furry deviantart crap and photoshopped self portraits :D Now THAT would be a better world.

Yes, it is. For some at least. Ever heard of actually the internet being some sort of drug like coffee, cigarettes, alcohol? It's dangerous. Seriously. I just really don't have the words to express that in English. -.-'

Nope. Cause in a community, where people try to be nice to each other and don't hurt each other this isn't necessary. And besides getting picked on anonymously can be crueler and getting picked on by someone you know...

But it can work both ways!

Is it?
I mean, as long as you keep it that way, it is.
But like I said, I know your face and you know mine. (meaning I've seen you IRL)

Point is, treat people like you want to be treated. Regardless where, either on the Internet (forum/IM/whatever) or on the street.

But come on, that's hardly an established phenomenon and I'm sure some people get addicted to flossing teeth. It's not like coffee, cigarettes and alcohol. Those are actual drugs.

Well I might have to be prepared for it but I don't have to appreciate it or swallow it telling me it's the internet. I should at least be allowed to be annoyed about such behaviour just as I would be in reallife and to find myself another place that I like better and then openly say that I like that place better for that reasons (like in this case the German or the International board)
