You know now, how I feel when I read an English text and someone's asking me something in German. Geez. It freaks me out everytime such a thing happens.

You're quite right. But it's hard to grow a backbone if you don't get enough support through your family or in gerenal your community. Being harassed all day long no matter where is really going to make you feel really, really bad.

But this has nothing to do with how people should act on the internet. This is about family matters (not the show) and the education system I guess. (How much personal bullying goes on in the industrial/commercial world i have no idea).

Life is imperfect and difficult for everyone. The internet is not an escape and everyone needs to learn that. We would then have far fewer shitty web comics, horrible blogs, furry deviantart crap and photoshopped self portraits Now THAT would be a better world.

I'd just like to note that I too am arguing essentially for the fun of it. Though I do actually feel people take the internet too seriously and should grow a backbone. Remember when people would make fun of you in the street for dressing different? Yeah. You said fuck them and put on your slayer.

Well my point is that I don't find that behaviour any good in reallife either. So why should I find it ok on the internet? For me I am a real person with real thoughts and emotions behind that screen. That I express those on the internet that moment doesn't make it any less disrespectful to bully me for it.

Besides that I also want to give in the point that if you're a person that is actually honest on the internet, you're even more vulnerable here than in reallife, because you're giving in your real thoughts and feelings but you just will have to trust that other's do that too. So respect is a really big issue on the internet because you abuse people's trust if you don't show any.

Almost 13 years recorder, 8 years piano and like, what?, 4-5 years cello.
