yea, it's exactly how my dad is. We can only shower in the morning until some special time, after that he keeps the water cold. And he normally doesn't put the heater on. I just put it on myself.

^^ oh my god, they are really crazy, its unbelieavable..
my dad keeps something low, something you have to regulate in the basement, where the main heater-machine (or whatever) is. so the heater wont get hot no matter if you put it on top-level. but i fortunately could make him change that .. my room is the only one upstairs that is kept warm. my parents' or sisters' bedrooms are steadily cold. my fathers' workroom and the second bath (where the bathtub is still missing, because my father "had no time") either.

I'm already wrapped in my blanket, but I want to be able to feel warm without it so I can finally start doing what I need to do...

WHAT?! thats really hard, I'd rage with no limit in this case! this is a violation of human rights?! do they want you to sicken again?!
