I'm sighted. So... allowed to travel for free.
And allowed to have a guide as well (for free)

That should do it.
Though you'll get used to it.
LC had no problems here but I don't know how he did it.
I did. Once I arrived in the US, I fell asleep (OK, it was midnight EST) but the next day I wanted to go sleeping at 6pm.
And back in NL we went to bed at 5. (but I had a bad mood 'cause some stupid bitch wanted to put me in a WHEELCHAIR! I'm sighed, not criple!

Thats cool then, hopefully I have an opportunity to take you up on that at some point.

Lol, thats ridiculous though, with the wheelchair :p Suppose if you were really tired it might be relaxing to get pushed around..

From what I have heard.... it is best to try and stay awake for as long as possible, just try to keep your normal day pattern.
So if you arrive in the morning or afternoon, do not go to sleep. Try and go to sleep on your normal bedtime

Heard this from a friend who went to Hong Kong, they arrived in the morning, he did not go to sleep, not untill the evening (of course) and his girl went to sleep as soon as they checked in to the hotel.
He was tired for 1 day (the day of arrival) she was tired for 3 days, coz she did not sleep properly at night, from sleeping during the day

I think I'm just going to try to sleep on the plane, and then go to sleep at a decent [CET] time... hope that works

wtf

Yep. Long live aid for the disabled.
You state your disabillity, and they provide you with a wheelchair! :D

Stupid.

In Canada (Toronto ON) we were put on a car, and driven to customs immediately. 'Cause both of us wouldn't find it.

I know how stupid people can be when you are handicapped

I was at the bakers once, when I saw the mom of an old classmate of mine, in a wheelchair. So I went up to her, had a little talk about what happened etc (when I was still in the same class as her daughter, she was not in a wheelchair, so I was kinda shocked and surprised)

it was kinda busy in the shop, so when it was her turn, I was still standing behind her, and they thought I was her guide or something

and the girl behind the counter asked me: what does she want?
and I said: I dunno, but I am sure she is perfectly capable of telling you what she needs herself.
