and by bread, i mean beer. and by hostels, i mean hostels probably. a guy i know did a backpacking trip thru die Schweiz and he said the hostels were all veyr very nice, and cheap. So thats cool.

yea, if I can manage the Scandinavian part of my trip, I'll basically be at hostels every night. though I don't mind it much. at least not now... maybe I'll get there and get tired of them, who knows

whats the longest you've ever been away from friends/family?

at least a week, as far as I can remember... maybe longer. several times though.
never missed them at all... I'm honestly not that close to my family anyway

it depends...for me i was already somewhat homesick after only about 2 weeks on the road in europe. however, i was getting 2-4 hours of sleep per night, doing a lot of partying, AND doing this all without any of my luggage, which was lost somewhere until after i got home. Just gotta take it slow, spend a good 2-3 days or more in a place, and live comfortably.

yea, I'll see what I can do. though I want to see sooo many different cities in Norway and etc. that I might only be in each for a day or two
though for me I think that'll work... I like to move fast, keeps things interesting. otherwise I get bored.
