I wanted to go to that... [UE3] Amon Amarth AND Slayer... and I think there was another band I really like, but I forgot...
either way, I couldn't, because unfortunately it was on the wrong side of the planet.

I agree, though to me I think Metalcore owes a lot to In Flames, they played in that style before most metalcore bands existed. Just my opinion.

Well I like some In Flames, but prefer their older material, From COLONY and before.

i´m not really a fan,from new stuff,but the sense of purpose,is a great album(but you cant compare it,with.like you said,the colony and clayman)

I think so though I feel that In Flames had a big influence the Metalcore sound, then took what became Metalcore and mixed it into their sound, sort of life imitating art.
