past is kinda difficalt to explain, coz it is just something you learn by speaking dutch. and there are several form
regular verbs in past tense can end either on -de or -te
Ik mis --> ik miste (I miss --> I missed)
ik faal --> ik faalde (I fail --> I failed)
and irregular verbs
Ik loop --> ik liep (I walk --> I walked)
