Yep, safely back home and missing Wacken, Germany and you guys.

And yes a promise is a promise. I may try a smaller festival next time like Dong, With Full Force, BYH Sweden Rock etc.

I don't know but I guess Sweden Rock is big too. (not as big as Wacken but still)

Dong is "Pflicht" for me.
And I'm considering Graspop again next year. It's been a while since I've been there. (last time was 2006)

Wacken, endlich normale Leute (finally normal people), although that isn't true anymore with all those assholes coming there.

Still, every time I'm there, it feels like home to me. For how long.....?

Yeah Graspop sounds great. From what I'm told Sweden Rock is much better organized than WOA and has a better atmosphere.

But this year at Wacken as the day went on the festival grounds were so crowded, it was hard to move around at times. A lot more crowded than in 2003.

Well I really enjoyed it overall, but there was for sure more assholes and "attitudes"this time. Not terrible, but much more noticeable than before.

I think that Wacken has added too many trendy bands and that brings in those assholes. It's so much true metal anymore. But for the promoters it's great.

Like I said, I don't know Sweden Rock. Maybe gnoff does. (though you'd have to ask in the 50k thread, he won't come here)
Graspop is also getting bigger, but they reached their capacity years ago, so I guess they won't get any bigger.
I'm considering it because of both the Belgian forum members (GMM-forum) as well as the German forum members here. Might have to chose then, and then it'll be the Germans, as I see them less often.
