I talked to my dad after you called.
basically the main things are, he doesn't want me going alone to the other side of the world to be with people he doesn't know, and that I don't know in real life.
and he also has a problem with you loaning me so much money.
mainly that he thinks that if I'm not responsible enough to raise the money myself, how am I going to pay it back? and how am I going to deal with travelling alone to a foreign country? etc.
