Little sense

basically, what I do is listen to the lyrics... if I can understand them, at least... if not, I read them. and I pretty much just go by instinct... if it makes me feel uneasy, I don't listen to it.
and I edit out vulgar language.

If i took the lyrics of most metal seriously, I wouldn't listen to hardly any of it. It's like watching a horror movie. It's just entertainment, not reality. I alwys have to laugh at fans of horror movies who say that metal music is a bad and harmful thing. That is the dumbest thing in my opinion.

Well for example, most Death Metal is very violent, but I don't take the lyrics seriously, like Cannibal Corpse, I love them and consider their lyrics so over the top that there's no way you can or should take them seriously, even the band does not expect anyone to. But some of those radical Black Metalers who go beyond the music and do crimes, that I don't like, and completely dissagree with.

I don't like Cannibal Corpse, just because it's overly gorey.
I agree with that, though.
