i taught my AP music theory teacher a few times just this semester. he doesn't know crap...

music teachers almost never know anything. I remember one way back in like 4th or 5th grade . Her great idea was to play records that the class brought in.. A friend brought in Pink Floyd's Dark side of the moon album and played "money", just to hear the word bullshit in class...

it's not so much that he doesn't know anything... he's really just the orchestra director, and the school just stuck him in as the music theory teacher, i guess. sooo he can conduct the orchestra, but has no clue how to teach.
