Well, he's got the day before (30th) and normally the 2nd is a "bridge day" (doing the bridge between a public holiday and the weekend) but as a helpdesk eomployee, that might be more difficult.

He told me he has to ask for a day off... he just wanted to know if I'd be able to stay then before (of course). Sent him a pm now, just have to wait for results

He's off on the 30th. All companies are closed. It's national holiday in the Netherlands. (wie 3.10. in DE) No one works then.
but Friday?
I have holiday on Thursday and Friday.
