First rating<BR>Black, pitch black color. Brown head. Chocolate scent and a very burnt dominating flavor.<BR>When it comes down to an Imperial Stout, this is as close to perfection as I’ve ever tasted it! I’ve tried it on bottle and from the tap, on various different occasions, the conclusion is that it’s one of the best beers around that I’ve tasted. I’ve brought it with me to friends in Germany and Mexico to spread the taste, and it’s been much appreciated.<BR>9/5/9/4/19=4.6<BR><BR>Second rating<BR>(33 cl bottle at Café 3 Små Rum, Göteborg)<BR>On March 1, 2008<BR>Pitch black color, brown head. Really nice chocolate and roasted scent. Roasted malt, coffee and chocolate taste. Smooth mouthfeel, medium high bitterness.<BR>9/4/8/4/18=4.3

First rating<BR>Bottle at Akkurat in Stockholm, Sweden. November 2005. <BR>Brewed for Akkurat by Cantillon, flavored by cloudberries. Put on bottle in 1999, matured well since.<BR>Very nice smooth scent and flavor, well balanced but still sour. Part from the price I wouldn’t mind having a few more ot these.<BR>9/4/9/4/18=4.4<BR><BR>Second rating<BR>(Bottle at Pub Vildanden, Lund)<BR>Shady copper color, white head. Sweet mixed with sour scent, some cloudberry as well. Sour cloudberry fruity sweet taste, also citrus. Cloudberry aftertaste. Spritzy mouthfeel, low bitterness.<BR>9/3/9/3/17=4.1<BR><BR>Average rating: 9/4/9/3/18=4.3

Bottle, several times during 2004 and 2005.<BR>This was the first Barley Wine I tried and I got hooked at once. Nice dark color, strong scent and taste, good bite from the warming alcohol. It might not be for everyone, but if you are looking for a Barley Wine, I can recommend it for sure.

First rqting<BR>(375 ml bottle at The Rover, Göteborg) Bottled 2005. <BR>Shady peach color, small white head. Sour acidic and cheese scent. Sour cheese and stable taste. A bit spritzy mouthfeel, low bitterness.<BR>8/3/8/3/15=3.7<BR><BR>Second rating<BR>(From bottle at the brewery)<BR>On March 22, 2008<BR>Shady golden color, small white head. Sour, stable, horse blanket, cheeze scent. Sour, metallic, lactic taste. Tart, unripe apples aftertaste. Spritzy mouthfeel, low bitterness.<BR>9/4/8/4/17

Medium to smooth mouthfeel, low bitterness.<BR>8/5/8/4/17=4.2<BR><BR>Fourth rating<BR>(Draught at Bishops Arms, V Hamng, Göteborg)<BR>February 21, 2008<BR>Dark brown to black color, brown lasting head. A tad acidic and grape like off-taste at first, underneath is some roasted malt and chocolate. Raissin aftertaste. It didn’t display much scent at all. Either it’s bad or I’m having a bad beer day (this being the first and only beer this day, I shouldn’t be off) Smooth mouthfeel, low bitterenss. No real use in putting numbers on it. It does get better when it warms up more, bu tnot at all to the level I am used to with this beer. Perhaps the pub needs to clean the draught pipes better?
