no, it was some other. He seemed to be very sensible btw. That's why I think it's very significant. He thinks the same way I do about german forum

But, they can't say you're a newbie! (although some try anyways, 'cause they don't know you)

I got to know a lot of them (personally) and I like them. You have to take it easy with them. There's a totally different "netiquette" there.

That's not the point Quark! I'm not pissed by the way they are talking to me, but the way they treat each other. The newbie stuff was only an exapmle how hard it is to integrate for new members. I don't get what kind of forum this shall be...

But as there is a distance of 8 hours between us, that's hardly possible.

I'll just get to know some of those at FC and see if I am getting along. That's all I can do. I just really dislike the atmosphere in german board. Might keep an eye on it, but I'm still pissed off, if I'm honest

Maybe I'm just pampered by the way we treat each other over here. I have been in other forums before and I know that they tend to treat each other in the internet, like they do in the germanboard. I guess I'm just lucky with you guys...

Ich wollte damit ausdrücken, dass derjenige mir gerne antworten wollte, es aber per pm getan hat, damit nicht irgendwelche Leute ausm Forum seine Antwort gleich zerreißen. Damit meinte ich, dass das meine Vermutung doch relativ bestätigt, dass die Leute im germanboard ziemlich aggressiv/arrogant/unfreundlich sind.
Die Person, die mir geschrieben hat, war allersings sehr freundlich, keine Angst.
