Ticket sale - No idea where i should ask

Hello everyone!

So i bought a ticket it turns out i don't need (don't ask) and it would be great if i got back some or ideally all of the money i spent for it. Needless to say it will not cost more than the original price and i'll happily cover re-personalisation cost.

Apparently, the market thing on Wacken's site is either not working or perhaps it's too late to use it (although i did buy it yesterday...) and there's nothing but an automated response to my email so far.

Anyway, I will of course try my lack at the box office today but perhaps someone with more experience here can advise? [Beer will be offered in return]

Short answer: it's highly likely no one will want to buy it, demand is not there.

Longer answer: you cannot sell it via the official platform at a lower price, that's unfortunate, a limitation of the whole system. eBay and other platforms are officially not allowed, people are using them, you can sell it with a loss there or on Facebook or wherever, but it's unlikely you will find a buyer.

On a side note: I asked when the final point of time to re-personalize it for a sale via their platform was over a week ago and never got an answer

I was dreading that would be the case. Thank you so much for the reply though! For what it's worth, I think you're allowed to re-personalise. At least it offers the start of the option.

Yeah, I reckon you still could. Looking at what's going on and the forecast, I think I'll take the loss and save myself the mess of being stuck in traffic, then mud, and then risking not getting back in time over Sunday
