Born in Iserlohn, Germany, then various Barracks up to the age of 5 (Lübbecke, Münster, Osnabrück)

Then Derby (1969 - 1977) in the English Midlands...

Then Burton-on-Trent (1977- 1981)also in the English Midlands...

Then Hoddesdon (1981-1983) in Hertfordshire (just north of London)

Then Middlesbrough (1983-1987) on the NE-Coast of England (that's where I did my degree) - with a year out in London (living at my parents in Hoddesdon again)

Then briefly back at my parents (1987)

Then just outside of Wakefield, West Yorkshire (1988-1989) - I was working in Leeds

Then Luxembourg(1989-1991)....

Then Düsseldorf, Germany(1991-1996)...

And now, just outside Düsseldorf (1996-date)

Don't ask me for a list of the places I've worked in - I'm in Bern at the moment for instance
