We did something similar, minus the effort to create a video, just lyrics and music (although I did make a lyric video for one of the songs by hand, without AI).

Turned out pretty good, with minor issues in pronunciation, sometimes some excessive repetition and jumping in the lyrics, which I could mostly fix with minor cuts. We will blast the songs in our camp for sure, but a lot of songs are inside jokes, but also a few really good ones (where I actually put some effort into the lyrics).

I do fear that this technology will flood the scene with lots of half-assed bullshit, though.

As I said. It is an experiment and is in no way intended to replace the highly demanding process of composing and playing a song. It is merely an attempt to see what is currently possible with AI. The topic was chosen because I think that the stories from the Bible in particular provide fantastic material for text and composition.
