Iced Earth???

Ok what is all this rubbish I am hearing about Iced Earth? There is a link from some Iced Earth site saying something in German about Iced Earth not playing Wacken.

In my opinion Iced Earth owe it to their fans to play this year. I bought my ticket for WOA 2003 purely for Iced Earth. I had a great time without them in the end but COME ON ICED EARTH PLAY WACKEN!!!

I have seen them live before at the first gig in London and will see them on 21 March in London.

GET YOUR ASS IN GEAR JON AND GET ICED EARTH TO WACKEN!

How many peope were pissed off that Matt could not play one last farewell gig at Wacken last year! How good would that have been!

Get Tim involved with Iced Earth big style and let him shine at Wacken '04! The Glorious Burden kicks ass and is fast becoming my favourite album!

luckily I´ll see them in april in Vienna

And I'm still confused by his reason for departure - the impact of September 11th, two years after the fact?

Yeah, real smart, Matt...you quit your internationally successful touring metal band with thousands of fans all over the world, so you can do something "meaningful" with your life by working for $8.50/hour in the mail room of the Dept of Homeland Security, a sham US government agency that seems to do little more than flash color codes at us every day on CNN. Makes total sense.

There's another story, I'm sure. Probably along the same lines as why Larry Tarnowski just quit the band too - because Jon Schaeffer seems to be a self-important, controlling prick.

At least he admits it, though.
