Ahm.. just one more doubt... when the camping site opens?? As im leaving from Brasil im afraid to get too early or too late for the festival in time when they didn´t let me camp over there or i don´t find a nice place to camp...

btw.. is there a place to rent a GSM at wacken???

about renting a GSM...hm... I have no idea at all.

The Camping site officially opens on Tuesday, I guess. The earlier you come the more choices you have to find a good place for your tent. The festival seems to start earlier every year But I´m planning to arrive on Wednesday, I hope thats early enough. Last year the campground was pretty full when we arrived at Thursday noon. Anyway they will let you camp even if you arrive on Saturday, but then you´ll get a place far away from the festival area. Not good for finding the way back in the night

hm...depends a bit on yourself what you consider to be a good place for your tent! For me its a place not to far from the concert area, not too far from any toilets, but also not too close to both of them. Just follow your intuition! And you never know if your campground neighbours are that sort of guys who tend to growl folk songs when they are drunken
To get an orientation you will be able do download a map of the festival & campground area at this website before festival starts - its a handy thing when you arrive. (but of course there is also a map in the festival booklet which you can buy at W:O:A)

Hmm.. i understand.. i think i agree with you... btw.. whats that "human wash machine" they say on the site?? "also good for couples"??? Hmmm... weird... but sounds interesting... hehee

The human ash machine is some weird shit that looks like a car-wasing machine... it's named after the "Prince"cigarettes. I never tried it, but it doesn't look very appealing to me anyway (though the idea of taking a shower, naked with a couple of gays isn't appealing too...)
