I can actually understand it! I mean, 30€ more all of a sudden, only because it's a sports to arrive as early as possible BEFORE the starting date!
I'm sorry, but for me, this is a no go either! And if Hellfest is going into the same direction (as Wacken), I might actually consider Fall of Summer (Torcy/77) for my French fest, or (if still existing) Motorcultor in St. Nollf (Vannes/56)
I'll stick to my Hörnerfest for sure! And RockHard Fest is also cancelled for next year, Party-San probably. (if the same rules apply as RockHard/Wacken for disabled people)

they actually want more people to arrive early so there won't be trafficjams and all that.
"In 2017, Metalheads will be allowed to come to the W:O:A already on Monday, 31st of July, 2017 3pm without having to pay early bird fees. With this we aim to distribute the incoming guests more evenly over all three days (Monday to Wednesday), which in turn should decrease the risk of traffic jams and waiting times. (In 2016, a fee of 30€ per person was charged on Monday, 20€ on Tuesday)"
