It took a decent while to fall asleep, then I woke up at about 3, then took awhile to fall asleep again. Sucks.

Never again will I take an 8am class.

Not only for the waking up at 6am part, but because of the awful traffic. Takes up to 10 mins longer to get to where I'm going - a trip that otherwise takes 15 mins.

I have a similar problem when I start work at 8:30 instead of 7:30 or 8:00.

It's another reason I swear I'll never work in Atlanta. Traffic's just awful. I couldn't imagine sitting in traffic for an hour or hour and half every single day, for years and years. Just no.

On a good day it takes me half an hour to get to work. I hate spending so much time on the road and so much money on fuel just to get there, but the area has a reputation for being shit so I'm hesitant to move there

Maybe take a closer look? Sometimes even places like that have good parts within the crap city. You never know.

As a medical typist for mental health all I hear about is the drug cooking/trafficking/abuse, the poverty, the domestic violence, violent crimes and etc. in the area. I know some pockets of the city are worse than others, but the nicer parts are quite pricey and further from work than I'd like to travel if I were to move
