Back from 4 days of good (Belgian) beer in France. Some things are best taken from home.

Well, I feel kinda screwed over right now.
With the cookbook I made for my mom for Christmas - I got crazy hours at work and wasn't able to finish typing up all the recipes in time, so the day before I asked a friend to help me (for money). We talked for awhile but a couple hours later said they were going to send me what they'd finished but the file deleted itself. Well, alright, it wasn't going to be finished on time anyway because I realized too late I didn't buy enough colored flash cards to print them on. So I asked instead to have it done by New Years since my parents were going on vacation till then. Then I expected it to be even later because they said they had the flu. I could understand being late by a few days for that. Well, now apparently they're not going to do it at all because they're going to the hospital over it.
It's definitely a perfectly good reason if it's legit, but I have a bad feeling it's not. I've learned not to trust people and these things are why.

At this point it doesn't matter so much because the main reason I even asked was because I tried to have it done in time for Christmas. But after all the trouble and after expecting not to have to do it, I really don't want to do it. It's a lot to do. So I'm pretty upset that now I basically have to. Unless I can find someone else who will.

Not really sick, just detoxicating. And not having slept in a decent bed for 4 days. (actually 3 nights).
And all the beer I drunk, I'm actually feeling a bit too tired. That's about it.
