Félicitations!!!

My son will turn 6 next year! He'll be going to elementory school then. Hopefully in "immersion class", so he'll have bilingual education.

Ours will be in school then also. His birthday was too late to have him enrolled for this year but we are happy that he is waiting until next because he is a very small boy and needs to grow a little bit so he will not be the smallest in his class.

He will be going to French school but it is compulsory for them to teach English also thus it is really a bilingual school as well. Children can learn many languages when they are small so best to give them as much as possible ;) When I was his age I was fluent in 3 - just wish I would have been able to keep it up :(

Well, mine are (almost) bilingual, as we raise them in 2 different languages ourselves. My wife in French, me in Dutch. And for them (my oldest son and daughter) it's just logic to hear each of us in our native language.

My son even sang St. Nicolas songs in class. And not in French (our surroundings language) but in Dutch! His teacher was astonished but also found it cute to hear him sing those songs. She asked me to print some lyrics so they can use it in class! :D
(not to mention he was very proud of this of course :D:D)

One can see / tell that you love your job at Walmart! :p :D

The way you talk about your phone.. they must sell MILLIONS by now, just in the Atlanta GA area! :D:D:D

Walmart doesn't sell my phone. :o

It doesn't have anything to do with my job. Well besides that the fact that I like to learn about phones was part of why I got hired.

That's awesome! You can start teaching them English too :p Europeans are just so much better suited for living in a multi-lingual world. We 'Americans'(from North America) suck!

Bummer (for me) :(

But it could've been.
How could I know Walmart doesn't sell those!?

:ugly:

That's because almost every nation here has its own language.
With 27 EU members, there are only 3 (maybe 4) that don't have an own language. (Belgium: Dutch, French (and a little German), Luxemburg: French, German, Luxemburgish isn't recognised as a EU language, Austria: German)
Not to mention that Switzerland hasn't got its own language either. (well, Reto-Romanish is typical Swiss, though spoken in only one canton, and still)

Compare to America (north), there's only English, French and Spanish. (and with the complete American continent, you have Portuguese with it, the rest is all Spanish)
