Not 100% sure how it happened; there weren't too many moments where I was twiddling my thumbs. My supervisor had to go to a body corporate meeting so I minded the phones/counter and had a bit of a read-up on my German for Dummies book That's the closest I came to having nothing to do

The smart... expensive to buy, cheap in taxes and gas but super unsafe.
Not much of a kreukelzone (crumple zone??).

I can't get angry at drivers of those cars who tailgate people - especially me and my station wagon. If we have a collision and crash they die and maybe I'll be missing a boot.

Love VW. And tbh volkswagen is a really nice car to drive. Even the old ones




I'm an excelent driver if I may say so myself... even in England (wrong side of the road) I managed to stay out of trouble.

It's not because of excellence, it's mostly because of excessive speed I'm talking about. And mostly in Belgium!

But remember, speed tickets here are MORE expensive than in NL or Germany!

50€ plus 10€/ km/h on the highway!
And on some places 100€ plus 10€/kmh.

I've driven in Holland, Germany, Belgium and England... never ever gotten a speed ticket. So my driving and driving record is still excellent

Apart from England, I have walked in DE, FR, BE, NL, LU, CH, AT and USA.

And I don't like it there anymore than here.

But no driving! Thank goodness!

I'm always terrified as a passenger in Italy I wonder how long it took for my relatives to forget when I screamed 'FUCK' when we were speeding on the highway and got overtaken by someone on a motorbike going like...50km/hr faster than we were.
